Part Time Lecturer Recruitment for AY 2026-27

1. Last Date & Time of Submission of Online Application: 15.08.2026 (Saturday) up to 5:00 pm.

2. Display of Merit List in College Website: 17.08.2026 (Monday) at 4:00 pm.

3. Last Date & Time for Claims/Objections: 18.08.2026 (Tuesday) at 1:00 pm.

4. Display of Final Merit List after scrutiny of all claims/objections: 18.08.2026 (Tuesday) at 5:00 pm.

5. Document Verification of Shortlisted Candidates: 20.08.2026 (Thursday) at 11:00 am.

Note: Principal, Govt. Polytechnic Berla reserves all the rights to change or cancel any/all vacancies at any    time during the process of recruitment.

Qualification & Eligibility: The minimum educational qualifications and other eligibility conditions for all posts shall be governed by the latest AICTE Regulations / Guidelines applicable to Diploma Level Technical Institutions. 

Selection Criteria:

• Selection will be solely on merit based on percentage of qualifying and bonus marks (5 marks) will be awarded for higher qualification in relevant discipline as per AICTE.

Merit Marks will be calculated as per formula given below:

Merit Marks = [% of Marks in Qualifying Degree] + [5 Marks (for higher qualification in relevant discipline)]

Selection Process:

Stage 1 – Publication of Provisional Merit List
A Provisional Merit List of all applicants will be published on the Institute's official website.

Stage 2 – Submission of Claims/Objections
Candidates, if any, may submit their claims/objections through the online objection portal within the prescribed schedule. No claims/objections received after the stipulated deadline shall be entertained.

Stage 3 – Publication of Final Merit List
After due scrutiny and disposal of all valid claims/objections by the Selection Committee, the Final Merit List shall be published on the Institute's official website. The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding.

Stage 4 – Document Verification
Candidates shortlisted in the Final Merit List shall be required to appear in person at the Institute on the scheduled date and time for document verification, carrying all original certificates/documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies.

Stage 5 – Cancellation of Candidature
Failure to appear for document verification, produce the required original documents, or establish eligibility as per the prescribed norms shall result in cancellation of candidature without any further notice.
